Founded in 1974,
the Fédération des producteurs de bovines du Québec (FPBQ) is an agricultural
producer’s association constituted under the Professional Syndicates Act.
Its primary mission is to defend and promote the professional, economic and
social interests of Québec cattle producers.
It is affiliated with the
Union des producteurs agricoles (UPA).
Made up of 14 regional syndicates, the
Fédération brings together 24,300 cattle producers operating 15,000 farms

for farm cash receipts of some $600 million. |
