Feedlot Health Management
Services (FHMS) is a consulting company providing comprehensive herd health
programs, veterinary consulting services and computerized health recording
systems to feedlots throughout Western Canada and the U.S.
Based in Okotoks,
Alberta, the company currently comprises nine veterinarians and eighteen support
staff. The practice has expanded over 20 years and presently provides
production consulting services to beef feedlots with an annual throughput of
greater than one million animals. The company also conducts over 25 research
studies in feedlot and cow/calf operations every year.
