Family-owned and managed for three
generations, SUNTERRA Meats' operations include a
federally-registered meat slaughter and processing plant located
in Innisfail, Alberta.
Built in 1974, the plant was
expanded in 2005 to include large animal slaughter. The plant
is HACCP-certified as well as EU- and Organic-certified,
maintaining quality from slaughter to processing; and marketing
both domestically and internationally. The company's
specialty-meats focus is lamb, beef, bison and veal.
